Fold in two an A5 black cardboard (1). Print the Star Wars logo, cut it out (2) and glue it on the upper part of the card (3).

5. glue a green straw on Yoda’s hand

 

NOW LET’S OPEN UP THE CARD…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. write the text (yellow on black) modulating the font size to create the typical “Star Wars” text effect and cut it out by paragraphs

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will notice that the text is in french (we live in a  french speaking country), but I’m sharing with you the .doc file so you can easily type your own text. The text basically says:

“6 years ago, in a galaxy far far away, (kid’s name) was born. The Jedi Concil invites you to celebrate the his 6th birthday from (time) to (time) on (date) at (address). Come help padawan (kid’s name) destruct the Death star and defend planet Earth from the invasion of the Empire. Here is the secret code to confirm your presence by sms: (telephone number). MAY THE FORCE BE YOU YOU!”
